Calling all Brands to Participate in the 2024 Fourth Annual Community Care Package Fundraiser

Help us put more money in the food bank!

MAFTO is seeking donations from its member regional food, beverage and consumer packaged goods brands to supply 1,000 to 2,000 units of a variety of non-perishable products, free goods coupons, non-alcoholic beverages, gift cards, or sundries to support the program.

Donate Product: With branded products and services to offer, we create excitement for purchasing and receiving the care package and recognize each company for participation.

Be A Sponsor: Over the last three years MAFTO, it’s community and sponsors have driven over $2000,000 in donations to Philabundance, Small Things and food pantries throughout our region. MAFTO has also distributed 5,000 Care Packages to food pantries, school programs, and charities throughout the Mid-Atlantic, creating special events, promoting participants and food pantries along the way.

Three years ago, MAFTO developed the Community Care Package program to support Philabundance and other food focused charities during a time we knew communities would be struggling due to the pandemic. Brands generously donated products, gift cards, and coupons, and companies of all kinds made contributions and donated the Care Packages to communities in need. Media partners, including Food Trade News, Outfront and the local TV stations promoted the program and its sponsors. As 1 in 4 children in the Philadelphia region face food uncertainty, our hometown needs our help more than ever.

A big thanks to our past Care Package participating brands, media partners and sponsors.

The Mid-Atlantic Food Trade Organization thanks all the Care Package Brands and all the companies who made this program a success!

In early 2020, we developed the Community Care Package program to support Philabundance, and other food focused charities, during a time we knew communities would be struggling due to the pandemic. To start this program, we asked brands to generously donate products, gift cards, and coupons. As a result, 25 incredible brands came through!

A big thanks to our 2020 Care Package Participating Brands:

With these donations we were able create care packages that were valued at $130+ each. However, the support for this program didn’t end with the product donations, we then had several other sponsors and donors for this program to raise funds desperately needed by the food charities.
