Eligibility Requirements
You must be a member of the AMR/Mid Atlantic Food Trades Organization for one year. Or, you are a child/stepchild or grandchild of a qualified AMR/MAFTO member. And, you will be a full-time college student.

Deadline
Applications and all requied materials must be received by August 31. Recipients will be announced in November. Applications should be mailed to: MAFTO 293 Tulip Tree Ct. Blue Bell, PA 19422.

The AMR/MAFTO Scholarships are awarded without discrimination on thebasis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, handicap or sex. Winners will be selected by the AMR/MAFTO Scholarship Committe based on academic success, overall excellence of character and potential for community contributions and leadership. Scholarships will be paid directly to the schools that the recipients attend. Applicants agree the AMR/MAFTO Scholarship Committees decision as final.

A Message From A Past Scholarship Winner

Dear Mr. Gordon,

First, I just wanted to thank you and the Board of Directors of AMR / MAFTO for awarding me a scholarship in 2009.  I would like to update you on what I’ve accomplished and let you know your scholarship program has been well received and appreciated.

After receiving the scholarship, I was chosen by Arcadia University as one of the students to study abroad in Rome in March 2010 and just recently, I was informed that I am being inducted on October 24^th 2010 into the National Honor Society for Educators.

I have worked extremely hard and will always keep in mind that the AMR/MAFTO scholarship helped me to achieve my goals.

Again, the fine work your organization has done in charity and education is much appreciated.
