The Mid-Atlantic Food Trades Organization (MAFTO) helps the industry stay connected through networking opportunities throughout the year. Retail leaders keep the industry informed by providing updates at our dinner meetings and networking during the annual golf outing, dinner-dance and the holiday party.

EDUCATING OUR YOUTH.

MAFTO realizes the important role education plays in developing our next generation of leaders. Our events help raise money for our scholarship fund. Last year, nine students received $2,500 scholarships to attend college.

MAFTO brings the food industry together, fosters good will and raises money to assist charitable organizations within our community and provide scholarships to students. Get more involved in MAFTO. Our committees are always in need of energetic volunteers to continue this important work.

Mid-Atlantic Food Trades Organization

MAFTO is a food trade organization based in Philadelphia, PA. The members of MAFTO work to promote goodwill throughout the food industry. MAFTO hosts social events throughout the year to promote fellowship among its members, manufacturers and retailers and raise money for its scholarship fund and for donations to local charities.

Originally, three Philadelphia based trade organizations, with long and successful histories, merged to create MAFTO: the Tri State Food Marketing Association, the Philadelphia Food Trades Organization and the Mid-Atlantic Frozen Foods Association. This merger became official on January 1, 2005 with the goal of raising money in order to donate to those in need and promoting the food industry through education and scholarship.

In 2010, the Association of Manufacturers' Representatives merged with MAFTO to form an even stronger food trade organization. Learn More
